About HEIC Format
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple's implementation of the HEIF standard used on iOS devices. While it offers better compression than JPEG, it has limited compatibility with many software applications and platforms.
Why Convert to JPEG?
- Universal Compatibility: JPEG is supported by virtually all devices, browsers, and applications
- Easier Sharing: Include images in reports without compatibility issues
- Simplified Workflow: Eliminate the need for special software to view inspection photos
- Archive Friendly: Ensure long-term accessibility of your inspection documentation
How To Use
- Drag and drop your HEIC files into the upload area (or click "Browse Files")
- Select multiple files at once for batch conversion (up to 2GB total)
- Click the "Convert to JPEG" button
- Your browser will download a ZIP file containing all converted JPEG images
- Large batches may take several minutes - please be patient!
- Original HEIC files are not stored on our servers after conversion
Large Batch Tips
- File Limits: Up to 200MB per file, 2GB total batch size
- Processing Time: Allow 1-2 minutes per 10 files for large images
- Memory Usage: Close other browser tabs during large conversions
- Network: Ensure stable internet connection for large downloads
